Concorde was the first aircraft to test the joystick actually installed on Airbus planes.

In 1978 F-WTSB performed 8 flights from Toulouse to Toulouse using the ancestor of the FBW command system.
I heard talking about these flights by friends but at that time I was no longer working on Concorde.
I saw the joystick elements go to the quality control department, without really knowing that these elements would be used on all Airbuses in 2023.

This is super cool, I did not know that. With this I can say I fly a piece of Concorde every day at work!!
