Hello Captain's,

The French and English manuals are completed. They will be included in the Release available soon.

Hi Pierre,

I have two questions:
1) Where can I find the manual ?
2) What is the input format for flight plans to be read, I try to import fms plans made in simbrief but not working CPS gets stuck

Thanks,

Joaquin

Hola Joaquim,
First welcome on this forum.

The manual can be found into the Documentation folder in the main install one.
Did you enter the correct path to the fms file folder in the control panel?

Bon soir Pierre,

Thanks for your welcome, really happy with this app and support forum.

I will make a new install as I could not find a folder with docs. Also the push button in the app to the manual does not open any document.

I managed to create a couple of Trip Docs with the CPS NG, but only when they are shorter routes. With the longer routes created in simbrief and exported to fms format (within the Concorde range) it reads the file in a strange way like back and forth so any trip is out of range or the app locks up. So is the XP12 format from Simbrief really compatible? Does it need edits maybe like taking out the SID STAR info?
Any help is appreciated.

Joaquin

Would you send me some screenshots of control panel of CPS-NG, please.

Hi Pierre,

Here are the attachments of screenshots on the control panel and the missing manual pop up.

I attached a fms plan created in simbrief that causes problems as an example.

Hola Joaquim,

I supose you have installed the spanish version.
As my Spanish friend who translated the previous manual is extremely busy this year, he coulndn't translate the new one.

You can find attached the English manual.

Concerning the fms files, what X-Plane version are you using?
It seems the flight plan format is not the right one.
CPS-NG needs fms file in X-Plane 11 or 12 format.

Thanks, I had installed actually the english version, but great this is what I needed. If I can help with translation work at some point let me know.

Cheers,

Joaquin

Hi Pierre,

Final question, apology to bother, what is the correct path to for the *.ins file in Xplane?

It states where the core lua is, but not sure if that is the main plugin/flywithlua/scripts folder or in the aircraft plugin xlua folder?

Thanks,

J

You never bother me.

The default path is: X-Plane location\Ressources\Plugins\flywithlua\Scripts\
